Fill the missing translations

Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.

Your menu can be in many languages. A dish you type in English is empty in the others until somebody fills it. Settings → Languages fills them all.

The rule

Pick one language and press until it says zero. Then pick the next one.

How it works

  1. Open Settings → Languages. If any text is empty you see Missing translations.
  2. Under it you see one chip per language, with how many empty texts that language has.
  3. Press a language chip, for example Italian. The button changes to Translate 100 into Italian.
  4. Press the button. Press it again until the Italian chip reads zero.
  5. Leave All languages picked instead if you want to fill a bit of every language at once.

Good to know

  • Each press does up to 100 texts. That is why one language at a time finishes faster.
  • It only fills empty text. Words you wrote are never replaced.
  • You pay by length. Many texts cost nothing, because we keep past translations.
  • Text with nothing in your main language is skipped. There is nothing to translate from.
  • The list under the chips shows where the empty texts are: Dishes and drinks, Menu sections, Venue details. Venue details means your About text and your price note.
  • If translating is off for your venue, turn it on higher up the same page.
