Who is reading your menu right now

Everything else on the analytics page is the past. This one number is now. It tells you how many people have your menu open at this moment.
The rule
The count only runs while you are looking at it. Close the page and it stops.
How it works
- Open Marketing Studio → Analytics and pick the Menu tab.
- The card at the top says On your menu right now.
- For about half a minute it says starting. That is not zero people. It means the count has not begun yet.
- Then it shows a number. It updates every 30 seconds on its own.
A green dot next to the title pulses while people are reading.
Good to know
- This card is part of Plus and Max. On other plans it does not show.
- The number counts open menus, not orders. Two friends at one table looking at their own phones are two.
- It can be up to 30 seconds behind when the last person leaves. It goes up at once when someone arrives.
- Someone who opens your menu and closes it after a few seconds still counts for that half minute.
- We do not know who these people are. This count stores no name, no phone and no cookie, so it adds no reason to ask your guests about cookies.
- If a guest’s phone asks websites not to track them, we do not count them.
- Closing this page stops the count. Nothing is measured while nobody looks.
Ask it instead of opening it
You can ask this in a chat too, in the app or on Telegram. Type Is anyone on our menu right now?
Asking starts the count, the same as opening this page. So the first answer says the count is starting. Ask again after a minute and you get a number.
