Photos and video for a night

People look at the picture before they read a word. A night needs at least one good one.

The rule

The main photo is the whole advert. Everything else is detail.

How it works

  1. Open the night, then find the Media part of the page.
  2. Press Add photos or video. Pick your files.
  3. Hover over the one you want first and press Make main. It then shows Main one.
  4. Write a Caption under a photo if it needs one.
  5. Fill in What is in the photo? so people who cannot see it still know.

Video works the same way. Press the star on a film. It then plays at the top of the night’s page.

Good to know

  • One photo is the main one. It goes at the top of the page. It is also on every card that links to the night.
  • A film at the top plays on its own, with no sound.
  • Hide a photo instead of deleting it if you may want it back. A hidden photo shows Hidden.
  • If you hide the main photo, the next photo takes its place. Hide them all and the night has no picture.
  • Big files take a moment. You see Sending, then Making the video ready.
