What shows in the ingredient list
Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.
The ingredient list does not show every row in your account. It shows the ones that are ready to be used.
The rule
A row shows when something real gives it a cost: a supplier product, a recipe that makes it, or a split from another ingredient. A row with none of those is not finished yet.
How it works
- You approve a product from a supplier. The row is made for you, with a cost, and it shows at once.
- You save a recipe and mark it batched. The prep row it makes shows at once.
- You set a split rule on an ingredient. The children of that split show at once.
- A row you typed by hand with nothing joined to it stays hidden until you do one of the three above.
Good to know
- Hidden is not deleted. The row is there and it comes back the moment you join it to something.
- Dishes cooked to order never show. A carbonara is made when a guest orders it, so there is no row for it. Its recipe still gives it a cost.
- A prep that is cooked to order is hidden the same way. A prep you make in a batch is not.
- If a row you expected is missing, open Suppliers and check the product was approved.
