Ask Dani to change your website

Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.

You don’t need to learn the builder. Just say what you want.

The rule

Anything on your website can be changed by asking. No menus to hunt through, no words you have to get exactly right.

How it works

  1. Open Dani — from your team chat, or with the Ask Dani to change this button at the top of your Home page and Site settings screens. Wherever you’re looking at your website, you can ask from there. The first time, she shows a few things you can tap — including one naming a dish of yours. Tap one and watch what happens; that’s the quickest way to get the idea.
  2. Or just say what you’d like — for example “show me a different look”, “put my carbonara first”, “add my opening hours to the page”, or “write a short line about my place”.
  3. Dani makes the change and tells you what she did.
  4. Open your website to see it. Don’t like it? Say so, and she changes it again.

You can also send her a photo. Tap the paperclip in the chat box, pick a picture, and say what to do with it — “use this at the top”.

Good to know

  • The tap suggestions only appear on an empty chat. Once you’ve sent a message they step aside — you’ve got the idea, and the space belongs to the conversation.
  • She reads your page before changing it, so “put the carbonara first” moves one dish and leaves the rest where they are.
  • Opening hours come from Settings. Dani can add the section, but if you haven’t saved your hours yet she’ll tell you to do that first rather than add an empty box.
  • Changing the look rebuilds your page sections from your real details — your dishes, your photos, your hours. If you typed wording into a section by hand, that wording is replaced, so ask for a look change only when you mean it.
  • Swapping the top photo turns off the rotating slideshow, so the photo you picked is the one people see.
  • Dani writes from what she actually knows about your place. She won’t invent awards or claim you’ve been open for twenty years.
  • Changing the website needs the paid website plan. Without it, Dani will tell you rather than fail quietly.
  • You choose who can do this. Only the owner can change the website to start with. To let someone else — a manager, say — turn on Change the website for them in Settings → Roles, or just for that one person in their profile. Anyone without it is told to ask you, in chat and in the builder alike.
  • She can’t take your website offline. That one stays in Settings, where you’re shown what stops working before you do it.
  • You can still change everything by hand in the Home page builder — asking is a shortcut, not a replacement.
