Read a competitor's ads

Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.

You can read a competitor’s ads yourself on the Meta ads tab. Or you can ask the AI to read them for you. It looks at the pictures too, not only the words.

The rule

Half of a restaurant ad is the picture. The price is often printed on the food, not written in the text.

How it works

  1. Open Marketing Studio → Competitors → a competitor → Meta ads.
  2. Press Read their ads. It costs 1 credit.
  3. You get a short report about all their ads together.

The report tells you:

  • What they are pushing, in one or two lines.
  • What they advertise — a discount, a new dish, a set lunch.
  • Prices in their ads, including prices printed on the picture. We put your own price next to each one.
  • How their ads look — food close-ups, people, plain text cards.
  • Who they are talking to — office workers, families, tourists.
  • What you could do about it.

You also get one line under each ad, saying what that ad offers and what its picture shows.

Under a live ad there is a Write a post to answer this button. It takes you to the post writer with a short brief already filled in. The brief goes after the same guests, in your own words. It never names them and never copies their words.

Good to know

  • We only read again when they start a new ad or stop one. Reading the same ads twice would cost you twice for the same answer.
  • Another restaurant may track the same place. You still pay once to see the report. You never see a report you did not pay for.
  • The report never says an ad did well. Facebook does not tell anyone how many people saw a restaurant ad. It can only say how long an ad has run and how many versions they made.
  • If they run a lot of ads, we read the 8 that have run the longest. Those are the ones they keep paying for. The other ads say on the card that we did not read them.
