How your page moves

Parts of your page arrive as a guest scrolls to them. You choose how.

The rule

Give two or three parts their own way in. A page where everything moves is a page that twitches.

How it works

  1. Open Web Pages → Homepage builder and click a part to open it.
  2. At the bottom you will see How this part arrives.
  3. Pick one:
    • Same as the rest of the page — leave it here unless you have a reason.
    • Appears, without moving.
    • Comes in from the left or from the right — good for a picture beside words.
    • Grows into place.
    • Wipes down like a curtain — the strongest one. Use it once.
  4. Save. Open your page and scroll down to watch it.

A photo that moves as you scroll

Four parts have one photo: Image, Picture and words, Call-to-action banner and Video. Open one and you get a second choice, What the picture does as you scroll:

  • Nothing. It stays still. — leave it here unless you have a reason.
  • The picture moves slower than the page.
  • The picture starts big and ends at its normal size.
  • The picture starts pale and gets clearer as you scroll.

Only the photo moves. The words stay where they are.

Good to know

  • Motion has to be on for your whole site first. Set it in Brand → Look & logo. With motion off, nothing here moves.
  • Guests who turn animations off on their phone see your page still, always. Nothing is hidden from them.
  • Your top banner is not in this list. It has its own entrance and it plays as the page opens.
  • The AI picks these for you when it builds a page. Change any of them after.
  • Use a moving photo on one part of the page. Two at most. A page where every photo moves is hard to read.
  • Other parts do not have this choice. A wall of many photos has none either.
  • Remove the photo later and nothing breaks. The part just stops moving.
