Change a photo you already made

The first result is rarely the final one. Rather than going back to the phone shot and starting over, open the photo you already made and describe the one change you want.

The rule

Every change makes a new photo. The one you started from stays exactly where it was.

How it works

  1. Open Photo Studio → Gallery and tap the photo you want to fix.
  2. Press Change with AI. A panel opens beside the picture.
  3. Type what to change — “warmer light”, “put it on a marble board”, “less parsley”. Six one-tap starting points sit above the box; tapping one fills it in so you can add to it before sending.
  4. Choose the shape and size the same way you do in the Studio. It opens on the shape the photo already is, so nothing gets cropped by accident.
  5. Press the button. When it’s ready the gallery moves onto the new photo.

Changing that new photo again builds on it. That’s how you get somewhere in small steps — warmer light first, then a cleaner background — instead of hoping one long instruction lands.

Good to know

  • One short, plain sentence works better than a paragraph. Ask for one thing at a time.
  • It costs the same as making a photo from scratch, and needs the same Generate permission.
  • Nothing is overwritten. Try four versions of the same dish, keep the one you like, delete the rest.
  • Deleting a changed photo never touches the one it came from. Deleting the original leaves the changed versions intact — only their Show original view stops working.
  • You can do this from the chat bot too: send a photo and tell it what to do, instead of picking a style.
