Add a photo to a dish from Telegram

Send a photo to the chat. Put it on a dish that is already on your menu. The photo goes to the dish’s Photos tab.

The rule

The photo is hidden. Guests cannot see it until you tap Make the photo public.

How it works

  1. Send the photo to the chat.
  2. Tap Upload to an item. Then write the name of the dish, for example “Calzone”. You can also write it under the photo: “add this photo to the calzone”.
  3. If one dish matches, tap Add photo. If more dishes match, tap the right one.
  4. The photo is saved on the dish, but it is hidden. Check it. Then tap Make the photo public.

Good to know

  • This uses no AI credits.
  • You made the photo public by mistake? Tap Hide the photo again under the next message.
  • If the dish has no photo yet, this photo becomes its main photo.
  • If the dish already has this same photo, the chat does not add it again.
  • If the chat says the file is not a photo, or is too big, send a normal JPG or PNG photo.
  • After you change a photo in the chat (“make the light warmer”), the new photo also has an Upload to an item button.
  • You add a photo of one new item to the menu? The photo goes on that item by itself.
  • The owner turns this on. Open Settings → AI → Telegram and switch on Add a photo to a dish.
