Descriptions for wine and drinks

Press ✨ Write with AI on a drink and you get a different kind of text from a dish. A dish was cooked here this morning. A bottle was made somewhere else, by someone else, years ago. That story is what the guest is buying.

The rule

A drink description says what the drink is. It never says what to eat with it, and it never says how to serve it.

How it works

  1. Set the section type — Wine, Spirit, Whisky, Sake, Beer, Cocktail, Coffee or a soft drink.
  2. Fill the item’s fields. For a wine: Winery, Vintage, Region, Appellation, Grape varieties, Taste profile.
  3. Press ✨ Write with AI on the Full description card.

You get an opening, three to five facts, then small sections: How it is made, How it tastes, Where it comes from, Good to know. The last one is the fun fact.

Each drink type is written its own way. A whisky talks about the cask. A sake talks about the rice.

Good to know

  • The description never suggests a dish or says “serve it cold”. Your waiter does that, and the guest sees your pairings in their own block.
  • It only claims what your fields say. It will not invent a year, a barrel or an award.
  • Fill the fields first. Empty fields make a short text, not a wrong one.

Ask the assistant what goes with it

The ✨ chat writes into the same two boxes, so it follows the same rule. But it can talk about pairings, because it can see yours.

It answers in this order:

  1. What you already connected. If a dish lists this wine, the assistant names it and stops. Your choice wins.
  2. Your real menu. If nothing is connected yet, it reads the rest of your menu and suggests two or three dishes, and says why.

It only names dishes and drinks that are on your menu and on sale. It cannot connect a pairing for you — you do that on the food item.
