Their ad prices next to yours

A rival’s ad often shows a price. We put that price next to yours.

The rule

A price in an ad is the price they want people to talk about. It is worth knowing what you charge for the same thing.

How it works

  1. Open Marketing Studio → Competitors → a competitor → Meta ads.
  2. Press Read their ads. It costs 1 credit.
  3. Under the report you see their prices, with your own price next to each one.

You get one of three answers for each price:

  • Their dish and yours. “They advertise ฿590 for margherita. Your Margherita is ฿720.”
  • Where their price sits. “Your prices go from ฿180 to ฿980. This one sits between them.”
  • No answer, and why. Some prices cannot be compared. We say so.

We never say your price is too high or too low. That is your choice to make.

Good to know

  • We read these prices from their pictures. Look at the ad before you change a price.
  • Some prices are not the price of one dish. “From ฿350” is their lowest price. A set menu price buys a few dishes. We show these, but we do not match them to one of your dishes.
  • Some ads send people to a food delivery app. That app adds its own fee, so we do not put that price next to yours.
  • Add prices to your own menu first. With no prices we have nothing to show you.
  • Not every ad has a price. Many have none at all.
  • If they run a lot of ads, we read the 8 that have run the longest. Prices in their other ads are not here.
