What Rita can see about your place

Rita answers questions about how the app works. She can also look things up about your place: how many credits are left, whether Instagram is still connected, what failed this week, how many dishes have no photo.

The rule

Rita can only see what you can see. If your role can’t open a screen, she won’t read it out to you either.

How it works

  1. Open Help from the ? button in the top bar.
  2. Ask in your own words — “how many credits have I got left?”, “why didn’t my post go out?”, “how many dishes still need a photo?”
  3. She looks it up and answers with the real number, and says where it came from so you can go and check the same screen.
  4. If it’s something your role can’t open, she says she can’t see it from here and suggests asking someone at your venue who can.

Good to know

  • She looks at four things: your plan and credits, your connected accounts, anything that failed recently, and how much is on your menu.
  • She never changes anything. Every answer is a look, never an edit — she can tell you a post failed, she can’t send it again.
  • “I can’t see that” is not “you have none”. A cook asking about credits gets told it’s not visible to them, not that the balance is zero.
  • Numbers come from the live screens, so they match what you’d see if you opened them yourself.
  • She answers in the language you work in, and names each button the way your screen shows it — translated where your language has that button, English where it doesn’t.
  • She still can’t answer things nobody has written down. If the guides don’t cover it and your own information doesn’t either, she’ll offer you a ticket.
