Combine glass & bottle into one item

Scanning a drinks list often makes two rows for the same wine. One row holds the glass price. The other holds the bottle price. Two things then go wrong. Your list shows the same wine twice. And guests see only one of the two prices, so the glass is hidden from them. This turns the two rows into one item that shows both prices.

The rule: the assistant prepares the merge, but nothing changes until you tap Confirm.

How it works

  1. On the Menu page, tick the two rows for the same drink — e.g. Telmont Brut ฿990 and Telmont, Brut ฿6300.
  2. In the bar at the bottom, click Merge glass/bottle. A chat opens with your two rows already written in.
  3. Send it. The assistant reads the rows and shows a confirm card: Glass ฿990, Bottle ฿6300, and which duplicate row it will remove.
  4. Tap Confirm merge. The two rows become one item priced by the glass and the bottle, and your public menu shows both lines.

You can also just type it — “put the Telmont as 990 glass and 6300 bottle” — and skip the ticking.

Good to know

  • The button only shows on drinks. Tick two drink rows and it appears in the bar at the bottom. It stays hidden for food, because a plate is not sold by the glass.
  • Confirm is required. The assistant never merges on its own — the duplicate row is removed only after you tap Confirm.
  • The bottle becomes the default price shown first, unless you say otherwise.
  • The kept row keeps its details — photo, tasting notes, grape and vintage. Keep the richer of the two rows.
  • Only people who can edit the menu can do this.
  • Works for any two-price drink — a spirit by the shot and the bottle, a wine by the glass and the bottle.
