Your website on day one

You don’t build your website. You meet it, then tell us what you’d change.

The rule

Minutes after you join, your website and your menu link are live. Nothing is published behind your back — it’s your own address on our domain, and you can take it offline any time.

How it works

  1. While your team reads your reviews, posts and menu, Dani picks a look that fits your place.
  2. Leo reworks a few of your own photos into website-quality pictures for the top of the page.
  3. Dani puts up a page made from your photos, your best dishes and your opening times. Dishes that have a photo go first. The page always shows where to find you, your menu and your opening hours, when we have them.
  4. Then he writes it again in his own words. He writes three whole pages for your place and puts the first one up. This is free.
  5. Your page is in English. Dani then translates it into the languages you picked when you signed up.
  6. At the end of the show you get two links — your website and your menu. Send them to anyone.
  7. Change anything after that in Brand → Look & logo or the Page builder.

Good to know

  • The two other pages wait for you in Website → Page builder. One leads with your room and your story. One is short and asks people to book. Press Use this one to swap.
  • Languages: when you sign up, you pick up to 3 languages besides English. Add more later in Settings → Languages. The translation uses your free credits.
  • Dani writes from your own dishes and your own photos. He never makes up a chef, a year or a price.
  • A new venue gets a 7-day trial of the paid Website plan and of automatic translation. In these 7 days you can add all your dishes, with no limit of 40. When the trial ends, your menu link keeps working and your page waits for you. Nothing is deleted. Guests see your first 40 dishes until you choose a plan.
  • No menu online? Bruno asks you for it during the show. Send a photo, a PDF or a link. Your website waits for your menu, so take your time. No menu now? Press I do not have it now and the team goes on. With no answer in 30 minutes, the team goes on alone.
  • Your guests don’t end up on the page. Every picture is checked for faces twice, before and after the rework. A photo with a face in it is dropped. If the check cannot run, no photo goes up.
  • Don’t like a picture? Swap it in the Page builder.
