Take your pages offline

Sometimes you don’t want your pages showing: you’re closed for the season, mid-renovation, or you set things up before you were ready. One switch takes everything offline, and one click puts it back.

The rule — switching off is free, on every plan, and nothing you’ve made is deleted.

How it works

  1. Open Settings → Site settings. The switch is the first thing on the page.
  2. Press Take my pages offline.
  3. Read the list of what stops, then confirm.
  4. To come back, press Put my pages back online. That one takes effect straight away.

Good to know

  • What stops: your link shows “page not found”, your own web address stops working, nobody can read your menu, and search engines drop the pages until you’re back.
  • What keeps working: quotes you’ve already sent. Taking your pages down never breaks something a customer is already holding.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your menu, photos, prices and settings all stay exactly as they are.
  • Only owners can use this switch.
  • Getting set up doesn’t count this against you. Your menu row says “ready, but offline” instead of “up” — it stays ticked, because switching off is a choice, not an unfinished job.
  • It takes effect right away — guests stop seeing your pages within seconds, not hours.
