Trend Radar — what's moving in your cuisine
Recipe R&D → Trend Radar is where you watch what the rest of your cuisine is doing.
The rule
Save the searches once, sweep them weekly. The point isn’t to browse — it’s to notice what twenty venues are doing with bottarga that you aren’t.
How it works
- Save a search — a hashtag like thaistreetfood, a competitor’s account, a regional theme.
- Hit Run now. Matching Instagram and TikTok posts land in a grid you can scan in thirty seconds.
- Anything promising becomes a candidate in one click, and goes through the normal ingest → promote flow.
Two ways to use it
- Weekly market intelligence. Keep five or six queries running for the cuisines you care about and sweep them once a week.
- Competitor watch. Save a rival’s most-watched hashtag and you’ll know within a week when they launch something — well before it reaches food press or customer messages.
Good to know
- Each Run now costs credits, shown before you commit.
- Results are deduped across runs, so re-running only fetches genuinely new posts. The cost stays bounded no matter how often you sweep.
- A run caps at around 25 posts per platform.
- Automatic weekly sweeps with a digest — “the three most-viral dishes in your cuisine this week” — are planned. Today it’s run-now, per query.
