Your tab icon

The tab icon is the small picture next to your page name in the browser tab. Guests also see it when they save your page on their phone.

The rule: your pages choose the picture for you. You do not need to set it.

How it works

Your pages use the first picture they find in this list:

  1. A photo you gave your guest chat. This can be your Instagram picture.
  2. Your Instagram picture. Instagram must be connected.
  3. A drawn face you chose for your guest chat.
  4. The BiteTheMenu icon, when you have none of these.

Good to know

  • To change the icon, change your chat picture. Go to Guest chat, then Picture.
  • The icon works when the chat is off. It also works on every plan.
  • It shows on all your pages: menu, website and link page.
  • A browser can show the old icon for a short time after you change it.
  • Google shows one icon for each web address. On a bitethemenu.com address, Google shows our icon. On your own web address, Google shows yours.
