Intelligence — what's worth posting about

Some weeks the marketing calendar is obvious. Most weeks it isn’t. This page is the one paying attention while you cook.

The rule

An event across the city is not your event. Distance decides what you see.

How it works

  1. Today’s brief sits at the top — two or three sentences on what matters this morning, and one button for the single best thing to post.
  2. Near you lists holidays and nearby events, soonest first. Each nearby event shows how far away it is and which neighbourhood it’s in — 1.6 km · Khlong Toei.
  3. Events too far to bring you customers fold into Show further afield, so you can still see them if you disagree.
  4. How you’re doing shows your followers, posts this week, rating and new reviews.
  5. Create draft on anything hands it straight to the composer.

Good to know

  • A big concert 10 km away is worth less to you than a small market on your street. That’s the ranking — and it’s why you see fewer events than are actually happening.
  • Distance is measured from your venue’s address, so keep it right in settings. Without one, events still show but aren’t ranked.
  • Tap a card to customise the angle in your own words (it sticks for next year) or mute the event for good.
  • The brief writes itself each morning. The menu switches it to Mondays only, turns it off, or writes a fresh one now.
  • Press Not for us on any brief idea to drop it, and tell the brief to skip that venue or neighbourhood for good — see Teaching your brief what to skip.
  • How far “near you” reaches depends on the city. Bangkok gets a tighter circle than a small town, because crossing it takes longer.
  • Nearby events need your city; holidays need your country.
