Make a video from a dish

Turn a dish into a short, scroll-stopping video for Instagram, TikTok, or Reels — without writing a prompt. The system already knows the dish, so it does the hard part for you.

The rule

A video costs far more credits than a photo. Always read the preview before you press Generate.

How it works

  1. Open a dish and find the Media card, or start a post in Write a post built from a dish.
  2. Press Make a video. The system picks the right style for that kind of dish — a cheese-pull for a burger, a steam-and-twirl for pasta, a pour for a cocktail — and uses the dish’s hero photo as the first frame.
  3. The window shows the matched recipe, the dish details it will keep faithful, and a full preview of the prompt. Edit the opening line if you want, or tap Use suggested.
  4. Pick duration, quality and ratio — the credit cost shows before you commit — then Generate. The clip takes a few minutes and saves to your Library automatically.

Good to know

  • Videos use noticeably more credits than photos; the exact cost always shows before you generate.
  • Ratio is Reel (tall, 9:16), Square (1:1) or Wide (16:9). A Story or a Reel is always tall — you cannot change it there.
  • A few models keep your photo’s own shape instead of the ratio you pick. When that is the model you chose, the window tells you.
  • You can pick which model makes it. Each one says what it is good at and what this clip would cost on it — they are not all the same price, and the cheapest is not always the worst choice. Some models only make one clip from one photo, which is exactly what this screen does; those are the ones you will not see in Films.
  • Best results come from a dish that already has a good hero photo — that photo becomes the first frame.
  • You can change the suggested text, but you don’t have to — leaving it as-is works well.
  • Clips are made vertical (tall) by default, which fits Stories and Reels.
  • Anyone with Marketing Studio access can make videos; the credit balance is the only limit.
  • Composer — build a post and attach the video you generate.
  • Library — where finished videos are saved.
