Tuning how the AI reads your competitors
Out of the box the analysis is generic, because it doesn’t know your street. Three fields fix that.
How it works
Open Settings → AI and find Competitor analysis.
- Your market context — where you are, who eats with you, your price point. “Sukhumvit, mostly expats and tourists, lunch-heavy, mid-price Italian.”
- Analysis lens — the angle to take. “Be brutally honest about weaknesses we can attack” reads very differently from “Diplomatic, look for what we can learn.”
- Tone — how it should sound. “Speak like a senior strategist who’s seen this before” versus “Plain language, no jargon, for a non-marketer owner.”
Leave any blank for the neutral default.
Good to know
- These three go into the instructions every time a competitor is analysed — both the Google-only read and the combined one.
- What to look for and what shape to return stays fixed in the product. You’re steering the perspective, not rewriting the analysis.
- Saving doesn’t re-run anything. Trigger a fresh Analyze, or Rebuild on the combined card, to see the new tuning applied.
- Market context is the one that pays back most. “Lunch crowd is offices, dinner is couples” turns a generic read into one that names the shift you can actually win.
