Signing in — the login screen
Opening any admin page while signed out sends you to the BiteTheMenu login screen. It’s part of the app itself, so you never leave for an unbranded page in the middle of signing in.
The rule: there’s no password to remember. You sign in with your email, Google, or Apple.
How it works
- Go to any admin page — say Growth → Connections. If you’re not signed in, the login screen opens.
- Choose Google or Apple, or type the email your venue invited (
chef@consulbangkok.com) and press Continue. - With email, you get a one-time code or link — no password.
- You land back on exactly the page you were trying to open, not the dashboard.
New here? Start with Create account
Don’t have an account? Sign up at the foot of the login box opens account creation — the same screen the Start free button on our website takes you to. After that:
- You already work at a venue on BiteTheMenu — ask the owner to add you from Settings → Members. Access appears the moment they do.
- You’re bringing your own restaurant — you’ll land on a short setup page. See Getting your venue set up.
Good to know
- Already signed in and you open the login page by accident? It sends you straight through — you won’t get stuck on a “you’re already signed in” dead end.
- New teammates invited by an owner use a different door: the You’ve been invited page from their invitation email, which sets up the account in one step.
- One account can hold several venues. The first time you sign in with more than one, you’re asked which to open — tick Remember this choice and you won’t be asked again. Switch any time from the picker at the top of the page.
- Sessions last across browser restarts on the same device. Sign out from your name in the top-right on a shared machine.
