Writing your own prompt
A prompt is a set of standing instructions — “photograph this like a studio product shot”, “write the blurb in 25 words”. You get 125 ready-made ones. Write your own when something about your place is specific: a signature plate, a particular light, the way you always shoot pasta.
The rule: write the sentence you would say to a photographer standing in your kitchen, and leave blanks for the things that change from dish to dish.
Ask Dani, or write it yourself
Dani, your style designer, waits in the bottom-right corner. Tell her how you want the food to look — “my pizzas on a wooden board by the window, warm light, from above” — or press the paperclip and send her a photo of a look you like. Each thing she suggests arrives as a card with a Put it in the form button, so you read it before you take it.
To write it by hand instead: open Brand → Photo style, press Write your own, choose what it should do and which category, then type the instructions. Click any blank in the right-hand panel to copy it. Either way, the grey box underneath shows your words with the blanks filled in by an example dish — exactly what the AI will receive.
Good to know
- Nothing is saved until you press Save. Dani’s suggestions are ordinary edits; Cancel undoes them like any other.
- A photo is read for its style, not its food — the light, the surface, the angle, the mood.
- Blanks are filled from the dish.
{{name}}becomes whatever dish someone pressed Generate on, and a misspelled one is flagged in amber. - What the prompt does can’t change later. A new one is cheaper than a wrong one.
- Shape, size and look are starting points, not locks — anyone can change them just before generating.
- You need permission to manage AI to write or edit one.
