Who can see your group

Being a manager at one restaurant doesn’t, on its own, let someone reach across the whole group. That’s decided here.

The rule

Group access is one role, chosen here — not the permission switches on someone’s venue profile. Someone with no role here doesn’t see the Group menu at all.

The three roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything — edit the master catalogues, run transfers, and manage this list
ManagerEdit the catalogues and run transfers, but not change who’s a member
View-onlyLook at everything, change nothing. The accountant’s role

Adding someone

  1. Open Group → Members. As group owner you get an Add a member box; managers and view-only members see the list without controls.
  2. Type a name or email. People who already work at one of your venues appear as you type.
  3. Pick the role, click add. They’re in immediately and see the Group menu from their next visit.

For someone outside your venues — an external accountant — type their full email. They need to have signed in at least once; if nothing appears, ask them to do that first.

Changing or removing

Use the role dropdown on their row, or Remove.

One safety rail: you can’t remove or demote the last remaining Owner. A group always keeps someone who can manage it.
