Voiceover — make the film speak

Your scrolling film can have a voice reading over it. You write the words, pick who reads them, and press one button. You can still upload your own recording instead.

The rule

You write the words. The voice only reads them. It never invents a sentence.

How it works

  1. Open Marketing Studio → Scrolling films and pick your film.
  2. Go to step 4 · Film.
  3. Next to Voiceover, press Or write the words to speak.
  4. Type what you want said. As you type it tells you how many seconds it will run.
  5. Pick a Voice. There are 30. Each one has a word next to it — Warm, Firm, Upbeat — so you can guess before you listen.
  6. Press Make the voiceover. It takes a few seconds.

You can also set Style, Speed and Accent. Leave them on Default the first time. Change one, make it again, and listen to the two.

Good to know

  • Keep the words under 1500 letters, which is about two minutes of speech. Longer than that, split it into two films.
  • Making it again replaces the old one. There is only one voiceover per film.
  • The music gets quieter under the voice, on its own. You do not set that.
  • Your own recording still works. Press Upload or drop instead.
  • It costs credits, about the same as one photo for a short read.
