Connections — publishing login and your channels
The Connections page does two separate jobs — don’t mix them up:
Your own numbers only need pasted links — no login, ever. Publishing (at the bottom) needs a login.
How it works
- Your channels — paste your links (top of the page). Add your Google Maps link, Instagram handle, Facebook Page link, and TikTok username. We read those public pages every night — followers, posts, reviews, ratings — and everything the AI calculates or compares treats them as your own data. No login needed. Once our team verifies a link it shows Verified & locked; fixes go through Report an error. Channels you haven’t linked yet stay open — add them any time.
- Claim your business — ask to own your listing, so its identity gets locked once approved.
- Publishing — Instagram & Facebook (bottom of the page). Click Connect Instagram & Facebook and log in with the venue’s own Meta credentials. From then on, posts you schedule in the Composer publish themselves at the right time. One login covers both platforms; Instagram must be a Business or Creator account linked to your Facebook Page (free to convert). We store a posting token, never your password, and you can revoke it from Meta’s security settings.
Good to know
- Reading one of your channels uses credits, the same as reading a competitor’s.
- The pasted links are shared with Settings → venue profile — one field, two places to edit it.
- An amber about to expire card is not a problem. Posts are still going out. Reconnect when it suits you — we won’t chase you for it.
- If the login actually stops working, we come and tell you — a message to anyone paired with the assistant on Telegram, or an email to the owner and managers if nobody is paired. That one matters: scheduled posts are no longer going out on their own and your likes and reach have stopped updating. Fix it with Reconnect Instagram & Facebook; nothing you have made is lost.
- Disconnecting the publishing login never touches your channel data — the two are independent.
