Be found — on Google, and in AI answers
Most venue websites are invisible twice: search engines can’t make sense of them, and the AI assistants guests increasingly ask — “find me a quiet Italian place with good vegetarian options” — can’t read their menus at all. Your site is built to be found by both, automatically.
The rule: if it’s on your menu, a search engine and an AI assistant can read it. You don’t configure that — it ships that way on every paid plan, whichever layout you picked.
How it works
- Every page of your site gets a proper title and description derived from your venue and dishes — the text Google shows in results.
- On a paid plan your menu is also published as structured data: your venue with its address, hours and phone, then every dish with its price. Each dish gets its own page carrying its diet tags and allergens. When someone asks an assistant for “pistachio pizza near me,” your dish is legible — most competitors’ PDFs are not.
- Sharing your site on social pulls a clean preview card — your name, your photo, not a grey box.
- All of it updates itself when your menu changes. Tonight’s new dish is findable tomorrow.
Good to know
- It works on every layout. Whether your link opens the single-page menu or a full website, a paid plan gets the same machine-readable menu. Free plans get titles, descriptions and share cards.
- Every language you turn on gets found separately. Each one has its own web address, and each page tells search engines which languages it exists in — so someone searching in Thai can land on your Thai menu, not the English one. Turn a language on in Settings → Languages and it starts counting.
- A language you haven’t turned on is not published, even if a guest forces it in the address — those pages point back at your main language rather than competing with it.
- A custom domain carries all of this with it. Search credit is deliberately pooled on one address so the same menu isn’t counted twice.
- The earlier your site goes live, the longer search engines have to trust it — one more reason the scan is worth doing today, not next month.
