Your first day

The first time you sign in after being approved, the team stops you for about a minute. It’s worth it — by the end, most of your dashboard is full.

The rule: every question you’re asked switches something on, and you can skip any of them. Nothing you skip is lost.

How it works

  1. Bite says hello and introduces the rest of the team by name and job.
  2. Your menu comes first. Nina asks for it, Bruno takes it. Three buttons: Take a photo, Upload a PDF, Paste a link. One page at a time is fine. When everything is in, Bruno reads it and your full menu lands in your dashboard, ready for your photos.
  3. Peter shows you your reviews — the score, how many, and the things guests keep mentioning. He starts reading the moment you are approved, so by now he usually has the answer.
  4. Nina shows you who she would watch. She looks around your area and brings back a short list — places your guests also look at — with one she’d start from. Your plan decides how many you can follow; the rest stay on the list.
  5. Sara asks where you already post. Just your Instagram name or Facebook link — no password, nothing to log into. She only reads what anyone can see.
  6. Dani asks how your food should look. Four pictures, pick one, and every photo after that follows it.

Good to know

  • You see this once. Skip it and you go straight to your dashboard — nothing breaks.
  • Send your whole menu, not one page. Bruno asks “is that your whole menu?” at the end. Say yes only when every dish is in. Your prices and your food cost are read from it.
  • A link has to be a web page that shows your menu. A Google Drive link does not work. If you are not sure, send a photo or a PDF.
  • The menu you send becomes your real menu, not a copy. Change names or prices later in Menu, or turn the public page off in Settings → Site.
  • Anything unfinished appears under Getting set up on your home page, naming whoever’s waiting on you. It clears itself once you’re done.
  • Small tips appear the first time you open a page. Got it hides one, Turn guides off hides them all — both reversible under Guides in the ? menu.
  • Your teammates don’t see this. It’s for whoever opens the account first.
