Competitor card — chips and "Get their latest"
Each competitor on your Growth → Competitors list has a row of channel chips — Instagram, Google, Facebook, TikTok, Menu — that fetch the latest on them.
The rule: every pull costs a small flat price per channel — the same price whether it finds something new or confirms nothing changed. What controls your spend is how often you refresh, not what the refresh finds.
How it works
A lit chip means that channel is connected and we have data for it. Click it to see an inline preview — a rival’s star rating and recent reviews, their follower count and latest posts, or their menu with prices. A faint chip means that channel isn’t linked yet; add it from the competitor’s detail page.
- Click Get their latest on a channel to fetch new posts, reviews, photos or menu changes.
- If it was read very recently you get that read straight back — menus re-read monthly, Google weekly, social daily.
- You’re charged the flat price either way. The note under the card says what it found and what it cost.
- Need it re-read anyway? Force a fresh read under the button. Same price, just slower.
- Refresh all does every connected channel at once and shows the total.
Good to know
- Google, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok cost 3 credits a pull. A menu read is 10, since it rebuilds their whole dish-and-price list.
- Automatic refresh keeps competitors current on its own, charged at the same flat price. Your plan’s rhythm — daily or weekly — sets the monthly total.
- A pull that fails outright is never charged. If credits run out, automatic refresh pauses and you get a heads-up on your Intelligence page.
- Clicking twice won’t read the page twice — the second click returns the read you just paid for, at the same price. Nothing to gain from it.
- The full per-channel history lives on the competitor’s detail page; the card is the quick view.
