The menu sidebar

The menu down the left is how you move around your admin. It’s organised into grouped boxes so you can find a tool by its area and its colour, not by hunting a long list.

How it works

Each area sits in its own shaded box with a small coloured icon at the top — Overview, Growth, Public Menu, Front of House, Back of House, and so on. Every box has its own colour, so once you learn “Growth is green, Front of House is amber,” your eye jumps straight to it.

  • Tap a box’s title to collapse or expand it. Your choices are remembered on this device.
  • The area you’re currently in is highlighted, so you always know where you are.
  • Growth is the biggest area, so it’s split into labelled runs — Command, Create, Channels & market, Setup — to keep it quick to scan.
  • On a phone, the menu slides in over a dimmed background. Tap any item, the ✕, or the dimmed area to close it and get back to your work.

Good to know

  • You only see the areas and tools your venue has turned on and that your role is allowed to use — a smaller, cleaner menu for smaller roles.
  • The boxes and colours are just for grouping; they don’t change what any tool does.
  • The menu remembers which boxes you collapsed, per browser, so it opens the way you left it.
