Bookings: the list for each day

The Bookings page shows the table bookings for one day. Your floor team uses it during service. Pick Board to see your tables and the hours, or List to see the bookings by time. The list is easier on a phone.

How it works

  1. Open Orders & tables → Bookings. You see today. Use the arrows or the date to see another day.
  2. Under the title you see Your booking page. Press Copy link to send it to a guest, or Open page to see it. Press Make a link we count to make a link for Your links.
  3. At the top you see how many bookings and guests you have. Pick a space to see only that space.
  4. Each booking shows the time, the guests, the name, the phone, the table, the note and the booking number.
  5. Press Arrived, Seated and Finished as the guest moves through the evening. Press No-show when they do not come. Press Cancel and then Yes, cancel it to cancel.
  6. Press Add a booking for a phone call or a walk-in. Pick the guests and a free time. Write a name and a phone number. Your customers who match show under the boxes. Press one to use their details. See Know your guest.
  7. On the Board, drag a booking to another table or time. If that table is taken, the booking goes back and the page tells you why. On the list, press Move.
  8. On the Board, tap an empty time to add a booking there. Press Block tables and drag across a table to close it for some hours, for example for a private party.

Good to know

  • Staff, cashiers, shift leads, managers and owners can use the buttons. Changing spaces and booking times needs a person who can change settings.
  • Block a table and Block tables need the permission Close a room or a day for bookings. The owner turns it on or off for each person. See Close a room or a day for bookings.
  • Add a booking shows only times that are really free. Two people can never get the same table.
  • Staff can use a table that guests cannot book online. A walk-in can take the time that started up to 30 minutes ago.
  • The booking page link shows only while your website is on. If it is off, guests cannot open the page, and the bar says so.
  • Finished, No-show and Cancel make the table free again for other guests.
  • A cancelled booking and a no-show do not count in the totals.
  • A guest who books from an event shows For the event and the event’s name in the list. On the board, the name is after the time. Your alert says it too.
  • To close the whole day, use Closed days on Booking settings.
  • A guest who has not come after the time in Rules shows Late. Nothing changes by itself: you press No-show when you decide.
  • The message about a new booking has a link to this page, on the right day.
  • A booking can show This looks like your customer Anna. Press Link to Anna if it is the same person.
