Hashtags — smart suggestions for every post
Good hashtags help the right local diners find your posts. The composer can suggest them for you — and build a reusable plan for your whole venue — so you never have to guess a block of tags again.
The rule
Suggestions are grounded in your niche and how competitors near you actually tag right now — not a generic list. Build the venue plan once; every post stays consistent with it.
How it works
- In Growth → Composer, the left column has a Hashtag strategy panel. Click Build strategy to create your venue’s reusable plan — a few themed groups (say, “Pizza night”, “Aperitivo”), a pool of first-comment tags, and how many tags to use, based on how many local competitors post per photo.
- Generate a post as usual. In the preview, next to Hashtags, click Suggest hashtags. The system reads your post, your niche, and the competitor signal, then adds a focused set of tags — 1–2 strong ones plus more for the first comment.
- Edit freely: remove any tag with the ×, or run Suggest hashtags again. Your own tags are never dropped.
Good to know
- Both actions cost credits (shown on the button) — suggesting for a post is cheaper than building the venue plan.
- The count is not fixed. It follows what actually works in your market, anchored on how competitors here tag.
- Suggest hashtags works even before you build a plan — it just gets sharper once a plan exists.
- If nothing good comes back, you’re not charged — try again in a moment.
- Putting most tags in the first comment (not the caption) keeps the caption clean — a common Instagram habit.
