Our Google presence — your reviews dashboard

Your Google listing is the most-read description of your restaurant in the world. This turns it into something you can scan in under a minute.

The rule

Read once a day, act once a week. The trend line and the AI’s one-line recommendation are your scorecard.

Connecting it

Open Marketing Studio → Our Google presence. It asks for one thing: your Google Maps URL. Search your restaurant in Google Maps, tap Share, copy the link (it starts with maps.app.goo.gl or google.com/maps), paste, Save. Tracking starts straight away.

What’s on the page

  1. Four KPI tiles — Avg rating, Reviews (28d), Response rate, Posts (28d). Watch Response rate: a venue that answers everything reads as engaged to anyone scrolling.
  2. The 90-day trend chart — purple bars are new reviews per day; the amber line is your rolling 7-day average rating. Read the line’s direction, not its daily wobble.
  3. The AI insights panel — what guests love, what needs work, a trend pill, and this week’s focus: one specific sentence you can act on, not a platitude.
  4. The dashboard cards below — reviews, photos, ratings and everything else your listing shows.

Good to know

  • This is part of the Reviews & guest list service, which comes with Plus. If it isn’t there, it isn’t on your plan yet — ask us, or see Which features show in your menu.
  • The AI reads your last 90 days, or further back if fewer than 30 reviews landed in that window — and it tells you which it did, so you know how much evidence is behind the answer.
  • Sync now pulls everything in about 30 seconds. On a slow night it can take a few minutes. It also runs nightly around 3am, so manual syncs are only for when you’ve just changed something on your listing.
  • If a sync does not finish, an amber line on the page says so in plain words. Nothing you already collected is lost. The next sync tries again.
  • Refresh insights regenerates the AI read at any time and uses a small amount of credits.
  • Under each line of the AI read there are small buttons. Write a post opens the composer with that line as the brief. Save as idea puts it on your Ideas board. Make a staff lesson opens a new training course with the line filled in. You see only the buttons your plan and your role allow.
  • You can copy the photos on the Photo wall into your Library. Each photo costs 1 credit. See Save your Google photos to the Library.
  • Connect the official Google Business Profile in Connections and two traffic tiles appear (views over 28 and 7 days). Until then they stay hidden rather than showing zeros.
