Text size and alert sound

At the top of every admin screen there is a small group: A−, a number, A+, and a speaker. It sets how big the app is and how loud it rings. It is per screen, so a kitchen tablet and an office laptop can be set differently.
The rule
The size and the sound belong to the screen, not to the person. Set each screen the way the person standing in front of it needs it.
How it works
- Press A+ to make everything bigger. Press A− to make it smaller.
- The number in the middle is the size. Press it to go back to 100%.
- The range is 80% to 150%, in steps of 10.
- Press the speaker to set the alert sound. It goes Off, Quiet, Normal, Loud, then back to Off.
- Each press plays the sound, so you hear what you picked.
Good to know
- On a phone the text is already bigger. You do not have to press A+ first. The smallest labels grow the most.
- The size changes everything, not only the words. Buttons and menus grow with it. So do the new-order and new-message alerts. So does the chat with your AI team.
- The screen remembers both settings. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, they are still set.
- Nothing here follows you to another device. Set the tablet on the pass and the laptop in the office one at a time.
- At 120% and above the top bar is full, so the venue picker and the links move down into the side menu. Nothing is lost.
- Off silences the sound only. The alert still shows on screen, so a loud kitchen still sees new orders.
