A competitor's TripAdvisor page

Many guests read TripAdvisor before they pick a restaurant. This tab shows you what they see about a restaurant near you.
The rule
TripAdvisor gives one number Google does not: your place in the city list. Number 1 is the best.
How it works
- Open Marketing Studio → Competitors, click View detail, then the TripAdvisor tab.
- Copy their TripAdvisor address from the top of your browser. Paste it in and press Add link.
- We read their page. You see their stars, their place in the city list, their price band, and how often they answer.
- After that we read it once a week, so the numbers stay fresh.
How you compare puts your stars and your place next to theirs. Your side comes from your own TripAdvisor page, so add that too.
Press Read their reviews and we tell you what guests love and where the restaurant lets people down.
Good to know
- We do not keep the words guests wrote about another restaurant. Each line under Their reviews is our own summary.
- They answer counts only the reviews we read, not their whole page.
- We read their 25 newest reviews each time. Older reviews stay on their page and we do not read them.
- The weekly reading starts only after you add the link or open the tab. A restaurant you never looked at costs you nothing.
- Remove link stops the weekly reading. Add the page again later and we carry on from where we stopped.
- A restaurant with no TripAdvisor page is fine. The tab just asks you for a link.
Ask it instead of opening it
Ask in a chat, in the app or on Telegram: How does Appia do on TripAdvisor? or Are we above or below them in the list?
You get their score and their rank straight away. What guests say about them comes only after you have run that read once on this tab.
