Your house rules
เนื้อหานี้ยังไม่มีในภาษาของคุณ
Every venue has a hundred small rules that live in someone’s head — corkage, phones, what happens when a dish goes back. Write them down here and your team can ask about any of them from their phone, mid-shift, instead of interrupting you.
The rule
Staff only ever see a rule once you publish it. Drafts are invisible to them.
How it works
- Open Training → House rules.
- Pick a section — House rules, Service, Safety and allergens, Opening, Closing, Complaints, Money or Emergencies — and press Add a rule.
- Give it a short title and write what it says, the way you’d tell a new starter on their first shift. “We charge ฿300 a bottle for wine brought in, and no outside spirits.”
- Press Save rule. It’s live for staff straight away.
- Turn Let staff ask questions on at the top of the page. Now anyone paired to the bot can just type a question and get your answer back.
Staff don’t need a command. They type “can a guest bring a cake?” and the bot answers from your rules, telling them which one it came from.
Good to know
- Keep each rule short. One rule, one answer. A long rule crowds out the others and gets a worse answer.
- Anything about an allergy always ends the same way — the bot tells staff to check with the kitchen, whatever your rule says. It is never the last word on what’s in a dish.
- Questions it can’t answer are collected for you on the What staff asked page. That’s your list of what to write next.
- Only owners and managers can edit house rules. Writing a training course is a separate permission — someone can write quizzes without being able to rewrite your fire procedure.
- A rule nobody has confirmed in a year gets a quiet note asking if it’s still true. Press Still true to clear it.
- Answering questions uses a small amount of your credit. There’s a daily limit per venue so a busy Saturday can’t surprise you.
