Make a video from one photo

Pick one photo and make it move for a few seconds.

The rule: the photo you press the button on is the photo that moves. Nothing else is picked for you.

How it works

  1. Open a photo, in Marketing Studio → Library or on the Photos tab of a dish.
  2. Press Make a video. Your photo shows as the First frame.
  3. Under What should move? press a button. It writes a line you can change.
  4. Pick the length, the shape and the model. The price is on screen.
  5. Press Generate. It takes about three minutes. Keep working.

The motions you are offered

The buttons change with the thing in the photo. Food gets food motions. A wine, a beer or a cocktail gets drink motions.

On food

  • Ingredients fly out — parts of the dish rise up, then go back. Best on a pizza, a salad or a burger.
  • Steam — warm steam rises. The safest one, and true for most hot dishes.
  • Sizzle — small bubbles move. For a pan or a grill.
  • Pour sauce — sauce pours on top, then stops.

On a drink

  • Pour into a glass — the drink fills the glass, then settles.
  • Swirl in the glass — the drink turns inside the glass, then stops.
  • Cold drops — small drops of water form and slide down.
  • What it tastes of — the things the drink tastes of rise around it. You only see this button when the drink has taste notes on its card.

On any photo

  • Move in close — only the camera moves.
  • Turn around it — the camera goes all the way round.
  • Light moves over it — nothing moves but the light. Best on a bottle, a jar or a packet.

Good to know

  • The clip keeps what is in the photo. It adds no glass, hand or plate.
  • You pick the shape: Reel, Square or Wide. Some models keep your photo’s own shape and say so.
  • A blurry photo makes a blurry video.
  • The clip is saved to your Library under Videos. You never pay twice.
  • From a dish, press Use on this dish. Star it and it plays on the menu card.
  • If the photo is gone, you get a message and pay nothing.
