Fill in the details

เนื้อหานี้ยังไม่มีในภาษาของคุณ

A wine list says Barolo Cannubi 2017 — ฿5,200 and stops there. The detail card on each bottle wants more: producer, region, grape, body. This fills them all at once, instead of opening forty bottles one at a time.

The rule: nothing is spent until you press the button, and the cost is shown on it.

How it works

The Fill in the details panel appears on its own, right after something leaves you with empty detail boxes:

  1. After a menu scan — on the Menu updated screen, for the dishes it just added.
  2. After Fix my menu structure — for the dishes already sitting in the sections that just gained their boxes.
  3. The panel says how many items still have empty details and roughly what filling them costs.
  4. Press Fill in the details. It takes a minute or so for a long list, then tells you how many were filled. Open any dish to check — everything is editable.

Some of it is free: anything your menu already holds (a year in the name, a producer, a region) is copied across at no cost, before anything is bought.

Good to know

  • Up to 25 items per press, and the price shown is for that press — not for everything waiting. 110 items means five presses, each priced the same way.
  • The examples are your own boxes. When several kinds of section are involved it names which is which — “Winery and Vintage for Wine, or Volume for Juices”.
  • It never overwrites what you wrote. Anything already filled in — by you or by an earlier run — is left alone.
  • Sections without a detail card are skipped, and the panel says how many. A “Specials” section has nothing to fill.
  • Only sections that gained boxes are counted. A section that was simply moved under a family isn’t charged for.
  • Run out of credits partway and it stops and tells you, rather than failing quietly. Top up and press again.
  • Check the results. These are informed guesses about your wines, not facts read off the bottle. A producer’s own vintage notes will always beat them.
  • Only people who can edit the menu can run it.
