One dish on two menus

Your carbonara is on the à la carte list and on the brunch menu. It’s one dish. Copying it means two photos to update, two descriptions to keep matching, and two chances to forget one.

The rule

Add the dish to a second section instead of copying it. Edit it once and every section shows the change.

How it works

1. Open the dish and find Also served on, just under Category.
2. Pick a section — for the carbonara, Brunch.
3. Add more if you need them, or press × on a chip to remove one.
4. Press Save. The dish now shows in both places.

Category stays the dish’s home. Also served on is everywhere else it appears. The dish keeps one photo, one description, one set of allergens — change any of them and both sections update together.

Good to know

• The price is the same everywhere. A dish can’t cost ฿280 at brunch and ฿340 at dinner — that would mean the menu and the bill disagreeing.
• A dish that’s turned off, hidden, or whose home section is hidden stays off the menu everywhere, including sections you added it to.
• You can’t delete a section while dishes from elsewhere are still served there. Remove it from those dishes first.
• Free plans count it as one dish, however many sections it appears in.
• Only owners and managers can change this.
