Posting to Google
เนื้อหานี้ยังไม่มีในภาษาของคุณ
Your Google listing shows posts under your name in Search and Maps. They’re the fastest thing on this page to write: one picture, a few lines, and a button.
Google shows your picture wide in Search and square in Maps. Keep anything that matters in the middle — the dashed square in the preview is what survives.
How it works
- In Composer, step 1, pick Google.
- Choose the kind: What’s new (a normal update), Event (needs a title and dates), or Offer (a deal, optionally with a code to quote).
- Write the words. Google shows only about the first 80 characters before “Read more” — put the hook there.
- Add a button — Book, Order online, Call now, and so on. Offers don’t take one; their claim link is the button.
- Design or upload the picture. The shape is fixed at landscape, because that’s what Google asks for.
- Save it, then schedule it on the Calendar like any other post.
Good to know
- Events and offers disappear from your listing when they end. A what’s-new post stays.
- Event and offer titles cap at 58 characters; the caption caps at 1,500.
- Google listings don’t take video — stills only.
- Times are your venue’s local time.
- Save stays greyed out until Google has everything it needs, and tells you which bit is missing.
- Posts only go out once your listing is connected — see Connecting your Google listing.
